Scope and Definitions
These Betting Rules govern all wagers placed with Dada8 on sports, esports, and related markets offered by the operator. By placing a bet, the customer agrees to be bound by these Rules alongside any Market or Event specific conditions published at the time of the wager. Where conflicting terms exist, the Market-specific rule prevails over the general Rules.
General Settlement and Market Integrity
The outcome of a market is settled when a definitive official result is published by the relevant governing body or by a regulator authorized to determine the result. Bets on markets that are not resolved by official outcome are treated in accordance with the rules stated for the applicable market. Player specials markets are excluded from certain settlement provisions described below.
- The operator reserves the right to void bets placed after the publication of the outcome in long-term or outright markets if the result is officially announced, and not before the official outcome was known. If a market is decided by an official source more than 48 hours after the event’s conclusion, undecided bets may be voided at the operator’s discretion.
- In events not started on time or postponed, bets remain valid if the event commences within 48 hours of the original start time; otherwise the operator may void all affected bets and refund stakes.
- The operator may void bets if there is a demonstrable error in event details or odds (palpable error), or if a customer engages in prohibited activity (e.g., multiple identical bets to circumvent limits, collusion, or undisclosed insider information). Such actions may also lead to account restrictions or bet cancellations even after acceptance.
Live and In-Play Betting Rules
Bets placed during live events are subject to price movements and potential delays. The operator may refuse or void bets, in whole or in part, if market prices are not representative of the prevailing market conditions or if circumstances outside the operator’s control affect the integrity of the wager. Time-stamps and live data supplied for in‑play betting are provided as a service and carry no warranty of accuracy; bets are accepted at the customer’s own risk.
VAR and In-Event Decisions
Official decisions by referees, video assistant referee (VAR) or equivalent authorities may supersede on-field determinations. Where a VAR decision contradicts the on-field decision and affects the state of play relevant to a bet, bets placed during the interval between the original incident and the final decision may be voided, unless the odds offered on the relevant bet were not affected by the VAR decision or have been accounted for in the original odds. Settlement of other bets not influenced by the VAR decision remains valid.
Odds Display and Settlement Calculations
For customer experience purposes, odds displayed on-screen are rounded to two decimal places. Total odds are calculated using a sixth decimal digit, and total winnings are settled using two decimal places. Any discrepancy arising from rounding is a product of these rules and does not imply a new or separate bet.
Settlement Timelines
The maximum period for settlement or re-settlement of a betslip following event completion is 30 days from the date of the original settlement. Where a market is unsettled due to ambiguity, the operator may suspend settlement pending verification and provide justification on request.
Event Endpoints and Timing Rules
If an event finishes at or after minute 79:00 as recorded by the official time, markets are settled on the full-time result. If the event finishes at 78:59 or earlier, unsettled markets may be voided unless otherwise specified by the market terms. Abandoned or stopped events due to external factors (e.g., crowd trouble, technical failures) generally void all undecided markets unless the remaining markets have already been determined.
Format Compatibility and Market Validity
Supported pre-match and live formats include 2x25, 2x30, 2x35, 2x40, 2x45, and 3x30. Bets on events where the duration falls outside 50 to 90 minutes will be void. For 3x30 format, halftime duration is calculated as total match duration divided by two. The operator disclaims responsibility for unexpected format changes affecting settlement; customers accept these risks upon registration and wager acceptance.
Outrights and Play-or-Pay Principle
Outright markets (short-term and long-term) are governed by a Play-or-Pay rule. Bets on participants in an Outright market remain valid and may be settled as losses even if the named participant fails to participate for any reason. The Play-or-Pay rule applies to all outright markets listing participants (e.g., Winner, Top N), excluding head-to-head (H2H) markets. If a participant is replaced by another of the same team, team-based markets (H2H, classification) shall stand; individual participant markets may be void.
Bet Types: Scorers and Related Markets
Scorer-related bets (First, Last, Anytime Scorer) apply to regular time unless otherwise stated. Own goals are treated according to official authority and may be omitted from scorer tallies depending on the event’s scoring rules. Specific clarifications:
- First Goalscorer is void if the player never takes the field or enters after play has begun following the first goal, except for cases involving an own goal, which is ignored for the purpose of First Goalscorer.
- Last Goalscorer is void if the player never plays.
- Anytime Goalscorer applies to any eligible player who takes part in the match.
- In events abandoned after a scorer has occurred, bets on the first scorer may remain valid, while bets on the last scorer may be void; the Anytime scorer market for the scoring player will typically stand as winner and other players become void.
Changes of Venue, Postponements and Abandonments
Where a venue change, postponement, or abandonment affects the listed match details, the operator retains the right to void or adjust the affected bets in accordance with the event’s governing rules. If a match is moved to neutral ground or if home/away designation changes, bets may be void or settled on the updated official result as dictated by applicable competition rules.
Results, Verification, and Disputes
Official results published by the relevant governing body govern settlement. In the absence of an official result, the operator may rely on available evidence and contemporaneous data to determine the result. If there is conflicting information, the operator’s decision is final and binding. Customer disputes must be raised promptly through defined channels within the time limits specified by the operator; prolonged or unfounded disputes may be rejected.
Suspension, Verification and Prohibition of Rigging
If there is evidence of match fixing or irregular betting activity, the operator may suspend settlements, withhold payments, or void bets. The operator may report suspected fraud to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with regulatory bodies as required by law and licensing obligations.
General Provisions
These Rules may be amended by the operator from time to time. It is the customer’s responsibility to review Rules before placing bets. If a customer accesses data from third-party live feeds, such data is provided as-is and is not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or timely. The operator reserves all rights not expressly granted herein and may implement additional restrictions on bets and limits as required to maintain the integrity of betting activities.
